Finalmente experimentei o famoso Tagus by Sushic!
I finally decided to try the famous Tagus By Sushic!
Located at Quinta do Tagus Village, in Monte da Caparica, Portugal, Tagus by Sushic showcases a phenomenal view of The Tagus River and the Belém/Oeiras area. It’s ambiance is calm and pleasant, since the restaurant is located inside the estate. The employees are all very nice and helpful, especially Veronica who was our wonderful waitress.
Since we were a bit overwhelmed with the view and too many choices, we decided to ask our waiters for advice on what to order. The suggested that we didn’t order the Combos and that we try the house specials, which was pretty good advice. We started the meal with the House White Wine: Sauvignon Blanc Sushic, that was very pleasant and tasteful.
For starters we had the Salmon and Scallops Carpaccio w/ Mustard and Passion Fruit Sauce, that was amazing. I personally love carpaccios and this one definitely lived up to expectations, very fresh and tasty! After that we tried the Tuna Tataki covered in a shallot and Muscatel reduction topped with onion crisps, one of the house specialties. Also very fresh and tasty! We then tried the Ebi Delight – Nori rice base, Japanese mayonnaise, shrimp tempura and a pinch of sesame and the house special chili hot sauce, which is the perfect piece for people who love tempura. Finally, we had the Apple Roll – Apple tempura and shrimp with cream cheese, braised salmon and mustard sprouts. I must say this was one of my favorites! The mixture of flavors between the apple and the salmon definitely appealed to my taste buds.
For dessert, we ordered the Green Tea Brownie w/ Vanilla Ice Cream, that must have been invented specifically for me! I love chocolate and I love Green Tea! This dessert was a perfect happy ending for such a great meal!

Com certeza que voltarei! I will definitely be back soon!
